As I thought about this journey I remembered the time I heard a missionary preach at my home church in America. He had just traveled five hours to be with us in our evening service after preaching somewhere else that morning. Tired from the journey, he sat at a piano and before singing he said from his heart, "I wouldn't do this for anyone but you, Jesus". Starting a Bible translation project is never easy. There are obstacles of all kinds. But we believe it's God's desire that everyone would hear the Good News of Jesus in a language they can understand. As long as He is willing to work through us, we count it a blessing to be used by Him no matter what the circumstances. Thank you for praying and being such an important part of this work. Your gifts have been received and enabled us to help start this Bible translation. God IS using YOU to bring the Good News of Jesus to all peoples.
This is how God showed His love among us: He sent His one and only Son into the world that we might live through Him. 1 John 4: 9
